This book introduces the Brinson Consulting Integration Model, a practical framework for bringing behavioral insight directly into everyday clinical practice. You will learn why patients hesitate, what drives resistance to care, and how consulting psychology can support physicians without adding friction to an already demanding day. Real clinical scenarios walk you through what integration actually looks like in the exam room, not just in theory.

Through Evaluate, Adjust, and Treat, readers are guided to examine emotional patterns, reshape daily routines, strengthen mindset, and build supportive relationships that sustain progress. Blending clinical insight with real-life patient experiences and reflection exercises, this book addresses the emotional and psychological challenges often overlooked in bariatric care.
